    Naked City

Well, you could also look at the directors, many of whom went on to feature films, such as Arthur Hiller (The Americanization of Emily, Love Story), Jack Smight (Harper, No Way to Treat a Lady, The Illustrated Man, Damnation Alley), Alex March (Paper Lion, The Big Bounce), Elliot Silverstein...

    Naked City

Nice effort with this. Amazing number of actors who later became big stars or regulars. I watched 9 seasons of Perry Mason and remember only a couple of actors who later became big, James Coburn and Ryan O'Neal.

I, too, find Naked City growing on me. As I move into S2, there are several thing that stand out to me. One is the touching relationship btw. You'd think there were only a handful of actors...

I agree. There were some dramas that were very effective ar 30 minutes, Peter Gunn, NYPD, Felony Squad. 30 minutes kept them lean and mean.

    Naked City

I watched the episodes on the first disk last night, and thought the picture quality was pretty good. I am very happy with this set, and not just because of the price. The stories and the views of late 50s NYC. are very interesting.
