I turned on the Developer HUD and confirmed that my copy of Super 8 is in 4K. Then again, I redeemed the code yesterday, so this wasn’t an upgrade for me. I checked a couple of movies that were upgrades, and they were in 4K.
Quite the sale from Arrow. I picked up Django in 4K for $3. The UHD disc is currently $43 on Amazon. Donnie Darko is also available in 4K for $3, but I’ve already paid for that disc (and am waiting for a replacement).
iTunes has an all-4K “Must-Watch Classics Five Film Collection” with Lawrence of Arabia, Bridge on the River Kwai, Guns of Navarone, Gandhi, and Taxi Driver for $40.
