I wouldn't classify it as film noir. More like crime adventure combo. I don't think it's a good fit for the film noir set but as a standalone release. Although ,from the previous quotes , i guess that's not an option at this time.

I also am a big fan of the OSS117 set. Ive watched my set multiple times already. I am a eurospy fan and that genre has not been tapped into as much as other euro genres. I would love to see KL put out more eurospy.

Another weekend of announcements from KL and still no pre 60s new to Blu titles. Going on three months of this. Once the previously announced titles come out i fear that there will be a dry spell for classic releases from KL. Bummer! They were killing it for a long time. I still hope that they...

I've been noticing the lack of older title announcements for awhile,(April). I hope they get back to older titles with another deal with universal or paramount. If not i guess i just save some money. But i'd much rather buy more movies. As far as supporting the releases of older films from KL...

Very excited to see the Powell Paramount Vance films coming from KL. I hope they sell well so we get more releases like this in the future. Day one buy for me. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a commentary or two.

I do the same. Actually i go through the discs in ff. Only if i don't plan on watching them soon.

I always open and check the disc and packaging. Even if i'm going to watch it soon. Probably my OCD. But i've caught a few issues over the years and had them corrected.

I want to pick up the new noir set and this set. Last i looked amazon and the Bullmoose don't have them in stock yet. Hopefully soon.

I've noticed in recent weeks KL has not announced many new to Blu titles from Universal/Paramount. Mostly 4k and updated blu rays. I hope some are coming.

Just got finished listening to the podcast. Some good stuff coming. The two Columbo sets are great news. Although i'm most interested in the set of 70s shows. At least it sounds like those will all be in one set. And all with commentaries and more.

Detective Story is part of a noir box set and it does have some nice extras. This is the second film ,in this four film Imprint set , that KL has now put out on BLU.

Unfortunately i think you are correct. But i can dream. Plus KL has put out more than a few things i didn't expect.

Would love to see some early Paramount/Universal O'Connor movies. I would also love to see The Henry Aldrich movies. But i won't hold my breath.

I’ve had that happen. I just called cs and told them the issue. Don’t remember if they wanted a pic or not. But they replaced it.

Now that KL has announced Turning Point and Strange Loves of Martha Ivers and have already put out On the beach, is there any chance that Desperate Hours and No Man of Her Own will be released by KL. Those arte the last two films on the Imprint set that have no US blu rays.

I remember that i liked Never Say Die. But i haven't revisited it in a few years. Probably because i find Martha Raye annoying. Gotta get over that. :blink:
