One thing I don't think we ever talked about-- is Bonanza one of those shows that's been released on DVD where every season has some kind of bonus material? Don't know how many other shows that's true of.

And it actually collects both of the former volumes in one release, apparently.

They may at that-- not sure about an all-in-one in Blu, though.

Not a problem-- a lot of the guest stars on these old shows are people we practically never heard of before.

You bet-- I remember that fight, and also remember Bob Barker saying how it made TPIR more popular, because a lot of college students wanted to come and become contestants (may be mistaken, but that's what I remember him saying).

Natalie Trundy was in the role of Connie.

I think that could have been the Connie that Bob Barker's character Mort was hitting on and competing with Little Joe for.

That's good to hear (that the all-in-one will have the same bonuses as the volume releases [albeit only the episode names will be listed]). BTW, that "Denver McKee" outing had great game show host Bob Barker (him of Truth or Consequences and TPIR fame [I believe he's known more for TPIR])...

Are you saying then that the individual cases will simply list the episode titles, and nothing else?

That could indeed be the reason-- they can't get everything the stars did, whether within the series or outside of it.

If it could have been done, that probably would have been part of a great photo gallery of what the stars did post-Bonanza.

I remember seeing at least one commercial for a computer company (forget which one it was) where, as soon as the purchaser leaves with what he thought was the latest computer, the signage is changed and now says that a newer one has just come out-- does anyone remember that?

And he was also in the 1981 Rose Bowl as Grand Marshal of the Tournament of Roses (caption on NBC's broadcast of same bills him as Grand "Marshall")...

Wow-- looks like each individual go will have a good many bonuses, in addition to the bonus disc; this one ought to be right up there with that of I Love Lucy (loaded with bonuses; not many releases have done that, whether individuals or all-in-ones).

This will still have the wealth of bonuses the original volume releases had, won't it?
