Basically, this Andy Griffith Blu was packaged quite well, I take it.

And I trust this will be-- from what I understand, CBS has usually (with a few exceptions) had quality w/DVDs and Blus.

Did not know that about the Xbox One-- my PS3 will take any kind of region 1 or region-free DVD/Blu, even MODs.

Why does the Xbox One not support MODs?

That considered, my copy of that (OT) 1985 L.A. Lakers Return to Glory release had its fourth disc (Game 4) give up the ghost on me, perhaps because I saw it too many times. I figured, why not get a new copy, and perhaps I can enjoy it afresh. No such luck-- the Game 4 disc in this newer copy...

True indeed-- it seems that practically every family in the U.S. grew up around it when it was originally on CBS in the 60s.

Indeed! I bet practically any Lucy fan would snap that up right at release date.

On a lot of things, and not just from CBS and Paramount-- Fox has done it too, w/things like The Fall Guy and St. Elsewhere, among others.

Now (once this is released) it'll make it easy for Andy Griffith fans to choose how they want it-- the original DVDs (seasonal or all-in-one), or this new all-in-one Blu.
