I don't find it over the top more so than other films in the genre. For me, the meat of the movie is the suspense on the train.
This seems like a good one for Kino or maybe Mill Creek to put out.
I have the older release of the 1990 version. I haven't watched the disc in some time, but I like the movie. I don't think it could be called great, or excellent, but it's solid for the kind of film that it is and I would think that any Hackman fan would like it too.
I would buy it on blu ray.
