Well my point was this is just entertainment and to be enjoyed as entertainment. In just about every movie, you can find liberties with what would be actual.

Damn it's just a movie based on a Broadway play. If I were 4K equip, I would buy this in a heart beat.

Hopper is actually credited as director on the directors cut. The great director Mr Smithee is credited on the theatrical cut.
