Besides the new audio commentary, there are also subtitles and a new encode on a BD-50 disc instead of the old release's BD-25. Rick

Columbia is with Sony, so it's unlikely given how their deal went with Sony earlier. :emoji_disappointed:

Yep, it happens to me also, even though I check HTF at least once a day It happened again today with this thread. The only reason I don't miss out anymore is that I turned off email notifications and always go to my Watched Threads list ( https://www.hometheaterforum.com/community/ ) whenever I...

All the people I know that buy DVDs have Blu-ray or UHD players. They bought whatever player was on sale, even though they use them for DVDs only. They buy the DVDs because they're cheaper, look as good as streaming movies to them, or both. To each his own. Rick

I've always found that both sales were big, but with different focuses. For example, if you're not into film noir, then the November film noir sale (Noirvember) wouldn't be a big deal to you. In any case, KL says there won't be a November sale this year, but there will be one in December. Watch...

Actually, on the other forum, KL Support has been posting for people NOT to call their telephone number because there are no staff in their offices. :) I guess the people you get on the phone are remote workers. Anyway, KL Support strongly advises using the customer service form here...

Hey, Paul! The "WSL" abbreviation I used in that post is just a quick way of specifying "While Supplies Last." Don't worry, KL does spell it out as "While Supplies Last" on their website and in the announcement post that is right above my post in that thread. :) They got you covered there. It's...

Robert, just to be clear, are you referring the the Alan Ladd O.S.S. blu-ray to be released on AUG 10? I assumed you meant that upcoming O.S.S. release and had gotten it early in a pre-order, but BobO'Link's subsequent comment has me wondering if you were referring to the O.S.S. 117 box set.

There are only two on your list that I don't have (and don't particularly care about), so I'd have a very difficult time winnowing this down. :) First thing to do is go to Kino's While Supplies Last sale and select all on your list that are in the WSL sale. Then, as Malcolm R pointed out, add...

You're right; the misunderstanding is my fault because I didn't express myself clearly. :) I didn't mean the poster I responded to was asking about titles. I meant to say we could ask for hints other than titles over here in the "Your thoughts…" thread rather than the KL announcement thread. I...
