I LOVE the film!! One of my favorite film noirs.

I bought the 40 episode set released maybe a year before the complete series was released. I'd planned to get the full series & donate the small set to the library or something. Hearing about the shaky image quality is making me think twice on that.

Guess I'll hold onto the 40 episode set I bought last year. I also assumed that once you got past season, the picture quality would be pretty high.

That's what disappoints me about these types of releases. It's one chance to get an entire series together & not all the episodes are remastered. I haven't read anything really negative so I'm still looking forward to getting this. The quality of the previous best of box set really left me spoiled.

The impression I'm getting is that the video quality on the first season, while not bad, isn't on par with the other seasons. I can live with that. I'm assuming the episodes that were released in the past on DVD look as good as before?

Any more thoughts about the picture quality? My only exposure to the show came from the 40 episode release last year. Those were outstanding!!

All I know is..... I need to check this forum more!! No deal for me. Oh well. I'm still looking forward to getting this.
