I've made it a point to limit digital purchases to anything that's about the same price as a rental. That way, even if they disappear into ether, I'll still feel like I got my money's worth.

The second I've found, sadly. As I mentioned earlier, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is also a coaster.

Just discovered that my THX-1138 blu-ray has conked out. Tried it on three different players and the computer drive and no go.

It probably doesn't belong in this thread, but I just noticed that my blu-ray of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy no longer plays in any machine.

I would start making back ups of these titles, especially the out of print ones.
