This is indeed a nasty habit among studios, particularly with MGM and Columbia/TriStar. I guess it would be different if the revised artwork actually looked good; they're almost always awful. As far as the above go, the Top Secret! art doesn't bother me too bad(color-wise, it's appealing)...
