Yeah I had forgotten how some of North’s music cues just are a bit wacky and seem like from another film.

I think it’s fine if there are subtle tweaks done to a film to eliminate matte lines, etc. if they had been able to do a better job at the time, imsuspect they would have. You’re not alone there are lots of comments at the Blu-Ray.com forum.
