Earl, yes it was a typo on my part. The January 2004 issue of Sound and Vision magazine did a review on the SR-5400 receiver. Some people that I know have the SR-4400 receiver and it's more than adequate to fill their theater area with lots of sound.

Ron, I think you are looking at a very nice receiver. S&V magazine tested the 4400 a few months back (Dec. 2003?) and it performed quite well in their tests. The power output was quite good as I recall. Keep us updated.
