The Laurel & Hardy cartoon series had some single disc releases in the UK with a handful of episodes and in France the complete series was released. The releases were not from Warner. It is my understanding that the rights to that series are with Larry Harmon's estate.
Can someone confirm for me that this is actually what the menu for Pirates of Dark Water looks like? Is it like this with all the Archive titles? I though my Chan Clan DVD had a dedicated menu, my Diplomaniacs as well but it has been a while since I watched them. I am slightly concerned amazon...
Jason of Star Command and the Freedom Force were released on DVD from BCI and I reckon Mill Creek would be the best bet for a rerelease if they haven't done so already. Of your list I really want Goldie Gold, Jana, Clue Club and the rest of Godzilla but I think that last one is out of Warner's...
I finally ordered Pirates of Dark Water and it arrived but disc three came loos and is scuffed a little. I am debating the worthiness of sending it back or accepting it as is.

I think this is more than the DVDs, they have also returned to television, Animaniacs is on the Hub and I believe a Tiny Toons Special aired on The CW earlier last year, maybe for Halloween. I don't have the channels though, no cable and no antenna reception in my house due to a hill. I wouldn't...
Yeah I know they were shorter though I put the relative length just in case. With this particular episode, it seems as though the reveal of the mystery in question has been taken out. There has to be something missing, they were not that sloppy. Even in an edited for syndication form, I would...
I think scenes are missing from The Amazing Chan and Chan Clan. I just watched the second episode and I think a scene is missing, and it was sloppily edited if so, if not then it is just a poorly constructed episode. The episode is titled to Catch a Pitcher, the kids think they witness a...
releasing some GoBots a while back and Police Academy now allows for more diversity to be shown to kids. Sure you can't show them all Huckleberry Hound but you have what you have, around 30 or so. That will leave an impact. When I have kids they will grow up with films and shows from long before...
Well, for some reason Police Academy is being complained about and people are saying that they should have released gobots first. I have zero interest in GoBots, well, maybe 5% interest if I had a lot more money but I am super excited happy interested in Police Academy. I am very glad and...
Interesting, on the film side I hear tell of 9 Wheeler and Woolsey films, Bowery Boys, Jean Harlow and Philo Vance among others. If Something big is happening for HB in the archive that day too, I wonder if the live action tv shows are also going to have something big. This may be the release of...
The reason they are going off is because of bad marketing decisions and removing them from the mix with the new several years ago. I believe you have to aggressively go after the new kids of today with the classic material when they are diapers. I mean, share your DVDs with them, they will...
Hey Paul, I was born in 78 and have affection for a number of the shows that came on in the 70s ans 60s, many of them had repeat airings in the 80s. I do hope that Warner picks up on these releases from older times, especially Gilligan. He is too socially important, the DVDs could sell in store...
I said never released. This is, I think of all the HB tv cartoons without a single release, and even amongst all tv cartoons with out a single release, I think it the most important. Well it and Ruff n Ready though I think Quick Draw McGraw had more popularity in repeats along the way and the...
