Another reason I was disappointed in yesterday’s telecast is because I look forward to the Oscars every year. I love every minute of it no matter how long it was.
To me, yesterday’s show didn’t seem like the Oscars at all. Much of it due to the pandemic and its effect on the film industry.
But...
Shame on the producers for trying create false drama by counting on ending the show with a emotional Bozeman win. Never count your chickens before they hatch.
I hate to say it since I LOVE the Oscars but thanks to the pandemic and lack of nominees that I have seen, I have never been less interested in the ceremony than I am this year.
I usually have a party with friends over and we make a day of it. No party this year. :(
Did you read any of the books? Well I did, all of them, and that Kirkus review is absurd Imo. The Potter books were all excellent and as much for adults as they were for children I thought.
