I disagree. The film is may be trash but it contains a diamond. Faye Dunaway's fierce operatic performance. I'll take Mommie Dearest over any of the hideous W.C. Fields titles just announced. But hey, that's just me :D
Born deficient of the "camp" gene, I just find this an ordinary bad movie. However, it contains a genuinely great performance by Faye Dunaway (who just missed getting the New York film critics best actress award by a couple of votes) and for that reason alone, I look forward to this release...
