Oh good, the Official Announcement, thank you Robert!! Now I can place my Pre-Orders.
  4. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Then there's very little to be concerned about as no one has mentioned anything about 12-14 episodes per disc, correct? Did I miss something?
  5. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Thanks Josh I remember you explained that previously. That's when I'll place my orders for all 4 seasons and perhaps by that time a 5th and 6th will have been announced as well!

    Ozzie & Harriet

As per what Brad and Josh are saying nearly half the Petrocelli discs contain 5 episodes = 10 half-hour episodes and look pretty good. On a 1-10 scale I’d give the image quality a 6.5-7.0 and it’s in color. On the other hand I’d rate Dan August a 3.0 at best. It ruined my viewing experience...

    Ozzie & Harriet

Understood. Dan August looks just terrible. But I'm not so sure if it's the cramming of episodes per disc or simply the lousy non-remastered prints. Perhaps both?
  8. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

I have Cannon, Petrocelli and Dan August and never experienced any freeze-ups.
  9. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Gary I think these will look great. I'll be waiting for you to tell me so. :P

I know that, my sarcasm.
  11. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Ron I wonder if these are also sold-out at MPI? Oh wait they're not even listed yet. Still no official announcement either. The anticipation is building all across the world this forum.

Here's an image of the President of MPI Home Video. Everything makes perfect sense now.
  14. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

What better way to build anticipation than to announce a product only a few weeks before the release date and what better way to create pre-orders than to list the item as being SOLD OUT on your website.
  15. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Closing in on the May 24th release date and MPI still hasn’t made their official announcement. What on earth are they thinking? The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet: Season 1 The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet: Season 2 Showing SOLD OUT on both.
  16. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

:) :) :) You got me. LOL! Too funny!
  17. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Thanks for explaining the process Josh. I did just speak with them and at least now they are acknowledging both seasons are being released. So does MPI send out a directive to Mr. Epstein to officially post a Pre-Order link here at HTF?
  18. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Without creating unnecessary speculation, I find it troubling that MPI hasn't made any official announcement at this point in time. When calling them they are more tight lipped than ever. Meaning no one seems to know anything or they are being directed to say such. They were unaware of these two...

    Ozzie & Harriet

In 2019 I downloaded 105 very nice looking episodes from Archive.org. I found them to be larger and higher quality files than those found on YouTube. But it took quite some time to separate the good from the really bad.

    Good god man!! ! 10 1/2 years ago. Really? Wow! I'm happy for you and others here. Happy for me too, but more so for l o n g s u f f e r i n g fans!

Bob no one beats Amazon's customer service, but in past years Amazon doesn't always have the best prices on physical media. I use DeepDiscount and they have always done right by me!
  23. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

I was just about to post the question you just answered. I could very well do without the original commercials interrupting my viewing. It was a novelty at first but after that I scanned right through them all. If MPI has included them I sure hope there's an option to watch with and without...

    Ozzie & Harriet

Gotta love that. I gave your old kitchen even more charm. :)
  25. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

Very sweet story Josh. I'm actually looking forward to seeing some of these for my very first time. Over the years I just passed on watching some because of the public domain-like quality. If you do the math 14 seasons x 23 bucks = $322 for 436 episodes. LifeTime Payments @ TimeLife = $200...
  26. The 1960's

    Ozzie & Harriet

You might recall back on Aug 23 last year I called MPI. Today I called them for the third time. The woman I first spoke with previously was off today. I asked many questions and received just about no answers. And believe me I asked every imaginable question one could think of asking. The only...

Good for you Ron. You put one over on LifeTime of payments @ TimeLife!!

Actually the correct code is TTACAIAS2021. I just took the money that I had earmarked for Ozzie and Harriet and gave my support to a much better cause. The Abbott And Costello Show: Season 1 851968007729 Blu-ray Release date: 12/14/2021

Here's that TimeLife O&H commercial live streaming at this moment on BiNGEtv, formerly FOLKtv. Interesting channel begun by Neil Ardman (I think) who founded Retro TV, which was the very first of all the retro channels well before METV and the many others. Note their schedule with nightly binges...
