The 1014TX is true 7.1 and true THX capable just the same as the 2400. It also has component upconversion like the 2400 too.

The 1014TX has auto speaker setup just like the V2400. The 2400 has more channels of EQ but it's been known to introduce phase issues when doing room-eq. The ExpressVU/Bishnet incompatible is unfortunate.
