Got a load of episodes on the DVR going back several months. Time for a binge viewing. Also a couple of old favorites, like "Turn Left" and "The Waters of Mars".that I can re-watch over and over.

Really starting to like "Missy", getting a bit burned out with the Daleks. I miss River Song, probably my favorite character. Alex Kingston is a wonderful actress and played the part really well.

I actually liked it because of "The Ponds", brought a lot of humor into the series. Smith, not so much. The latest Doctor and Clara are not my favorites, zero chemistry. I miss the Tennant/Tate years, those were very well done. Not sure what to expect, but looking forward to the show's return.

My timing is always so bad. Just changed to a Dish package that includes all my favorite channels, except of course BBCA. Oh well, I'll bite the bullet, probably bump my bill about $30, but I'm not going to miss new episodes of Doctor Who after this long of a wait. It's free for now, but...

Wow, a "Jamie Bond"? That would kill the franchise, probably go down as one of the biggest flops in history if they tried it.

So it's novels based on a TV show, not a TV show based on novels? So somebody has essentially just sat down, converted a screenplay into something more user friendly.

Will have to find the books. Maybe a bit naive, but never knew there were novels this was based on. Just thought it was a "TV" show. Novels are always better than whatever ends up on a screen. Your mind can imagine things, get much more involved with the characters, create its own imaginary...

A bit off topic, but I was a projectionist at a tri-plex in the early '80s. We used to run 16mm films for children, along with special popcorn/drink promos to make the $. It was so embarrassing, I was ashamed, but it paid the bills. I was already into widescreen presentations, and it was awful...

Tried Orphan Black for a while, but just didn't click. One of those shows where you either like it or you don't. Kind of like Mr. Robot. I found it incredibly annoying, but apparently I'm in the minority. :) I'll give it a try again when it restarts, so possibly might reverse my opinion.
