    That's pretty sweet. And good call on the 7200rpm drive . . . the HD is the bottleneck in most laptops because people usually get 4200rpm or 5400rpm drives.

    You won't have any compatibility issues with the AMD processor. You might seek out some benchmarks with the programs you intend to use. AMD always wins benchmarks in games, but some Intel chips are better than AMD at encoding and other applications. I haven't seen benchmarks for the Duo, so...
