I was thinking the same thing. The packaging pretty much forces you to touch the disc, and for many of us, a cleaning on the disc eliminates the problem.

My copy froze and pixilated at that same spot. I took the disc out, cleaned it with this Mobile Fidelity disc cleaner I have, and then it played back perfectly. I don't know for sure, but I'm wondering if the fact that you actually have to touch the disc to get it out the packaging is causing...
