The question is, how many people are willing to upgrade a classic film from a good looking Blu-ray to 4K, vs. buying two new to Blu-ray classics that probably cost the same or less to produce than the single 4K release? I don't know the answer but I'm not convinced that the audience for classic...
I buy and do what I want and I have a wife. She'll find out about those 15 Kino Blu rays I just bought when they get here on Thursday. :thumbsup:

Oh, OK. I guess I should be grateful they've streamlined the film for us. I've informed Kino, they've now responded to my comment (they say they "can look into the matter"), so I'm done with this.

What you miss is the fact that they remove all his clothes from the room. With the cut on the Kino Blu-ray you are left to wonder why Hope can't just get dressed again and stop running around with a blanket wrapped around him.

FYI, since I haven't gotten a response to the Kino Lorber customer support note I left last week...
At around the 59 minute mark there is about 25 seconds missing compared to the DVD release. It leaves quite a plot hole and basically ruins the scene.
