    Honestly, I preferred the more spare, raw acoustic Hooker. Hooker is a true artist, though, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the album, alongside earlier work. I'll give it another go around....

    WRT to format, everything I recommended is available on CD, except maybe Alone. I've got that on vinyl, and can't remember seeing it on CD. Could be wrong.
