Finished the series tonight. I loved it. Great cameos from the original cast, but the new kids really bring you in. I really hope it gets renewed and soon, so we can have a new season this time next year.
Got through episode 6 last night and still loving the show. How has Don Stark not been given the keys to the sitcom world? He’s hilarious. Guy should be the anchor of his own show. Also, goes without saying that Debra Jo and Kurtwood are essential to this show. They’re even better than they were...
I watched the pilot of the new show. I thought it was terrific. Enough older characters and situations to bring you back into it, but just enough fresh-faced new characters to make it different. The young woman playing Leia seems to be hitting all the right notes.
Looking forward to watching...
The rest of the cast, minus Danny Masterson, is also returning.

No release date has been set, but I’d say late 2022 is a good bet.
Kurtwood Smith tweeted an image of the pilot script the other day:
And FWIW, there’s this:

I'm really looking forward to this. I loved the original show, and rewatched it last year on blu-ray. It'll be nice seeing the original cast recur, but even better that the show is anchored by Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp.
