I beg to differ. Seeing a colorized film - whether it's 4 minutes or 120 minutes - takes me out of the experience, because the fake color is very distracting. It simply looks unauthentic. I imagine they wanted a more psychedelic look for AYNIL, which is why they went with the colorized...

That's what I figured, but doesn't anyone else think that the B&W version of All You Need Is Love should have also been included? Why anyone - in 2015 or in 1995 - would colorize a film is beyond me.

Wasn't All You Need Is Love originally in black and white? And isn't this version colorized? The skin tones have that touch of gray that colorized films often do.

My copy finally arrived yesterday, and it seems to me that the BD shows the limitations of the source tape, particularly for the oldest films. On the other hand, something like the promo film for Shea Stadium (the video for Eight Days a Week) is incredibly beautiful. Wow - the clarity and color...

It seems like every few years there is a "confirmation" that Let It Be is coming. Most recently, I think it was in 2010 when the director said it was coming in 2013. Ringo also commented somewhere along the line that it was coming. As for Anthology, no mention that I am aware of - ever - of...
