Thank you for that, Dave. Some very helpful stuff in there

Yeah, the new CarPlay is fantastic. I really enjoy my time in the car with it.

My guess is that it is compatible as far as synching information. Personally, I would wait for the official release of Catalina. I did an upgrade to their beta only 5 weeks ago and had to remove it because there were some bugs I did not like -- one of which was all my program icons...

Yeah it was probably just my phone. I am working on the new iPhone 11 Pro Max right now. Couldn't restore my iCloud data because I was on Beta 13.01 So I had to join the beta program on my new Pro, upgrade it to 13.02 and now it is allowing me to restore from the cloud. Glad you got your...

Glad that is working for you. I am not going to worry about the Instant Message issue as I'll have a new phone in my hands in a few short hours.

Try seeing if you can send a message to someone who does not have an iOS device. I believe it's called SSM. I can't send a message to anyone who does not have an iPhone. Been a bug since the very first iteration of iOS 13 beta and it seems like they still have not fixed it.

That is so odd. I looked further into this and the only thing I could find via Google search is that if you don't have any profiles installed then PROFILES will not appear in settings. Yet, you have an installed profile if you are on ios 13. That is a head-scratcher

    iOS 13

It would be the same thing for iPad. Under GENERAL, beneath VPN, it says PROFILES That is where the profile would be. Just checked my iPad Pro. Mine is at 13.1. I have a feeling I already have the GM (Gold Master) that becomes the final. If you are at 13.1, you may have it too.

    iOS 13

Okay, so you want out of the beta program completely? I am surprised, then, that you can't unenroll from the program by removing the profile. I went to my phone -> GENERAL -> PROFILES The beta profile is there. I can easily uninstall that. You are saying that you don't have that option...

Doug, No need to do that. If you are in the public beta, the final will come up later today for you to download. I believe the final release will be available after noon PST.

Works great on the iPad. Some bugs on the iPhone but those have been resolved with Beta 5.
  15. Ronald Epstein

    iOS 13

You can. It's pretty involved in different scenarios given Catalina or iOS 13. I looked into downgrading my iOS (iPhone) device when I started having Instant Messaging issues, but after doing a Google search on the procedure, it just looked too tedious of a process to consider. I am on the...

Working great for me. I have betas on my MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone. All working very well. However, your mileage may vary.

Actually, just installed the beta on my iPad and it's working very well.

    iOS 13

For the umpteenth time, I failed to listen to my gut instinct and decided to install a beta operating system on my iPhone. Oh, I have done this many times in years past -- all around this time of year -- shortly after the beta has been made available for developers. Each time I have regretted...
