I wasn't crazy about Hayden Christensen being in this. His age difference really distracted me and there was little attempt to de-age him. I think that McGregor looks far less aged for some reason. Also, the "escapes" are far too easy. I think this is part of the dumbing down process from...

The series has been very uneven but the last two episodes have been quite good.

Absolutely. That is the most memorable theme in the entire saga and it is beautiful! I am amazed at the body of work John Williams has amassed. He has created the most memorable movie themes of all time. He will go down in movie history as the greatest composer in film, I think.
