Aah, thanks Jason.
Cheaper on BB than Amazon. And, who knows if Amazon will ever get more in?
Here's a quick story....
I ordered the Ultimate Gangsters Collection in November of 2015. It was dirt cheap on Amazon, with the promise of "more copies to arrive soon."
A year later, by Christmas...
So, I have volumes 2 and 3. Both arrived within the past week.
Volume 1 has been on backorder via Amazon. Then I got to thinking about the Warner issues with Amazon and I decided to cancel my order.
Went to Best Buy online and got it for almost $5 cheaper. The only thing that concerns me is...
That's an absolute essential. Can't believe that gem is missing.
Why do I think, like everything else, nobody is buying these sets and Warner just gave up?
Now re-reading your original post, Dick, I indeed did not understand clearly.
Sorry, and thank you.
VERY HAPPY to see Buccanneer Bunny is on the Platinum set.
It's amazing that I can *clearly* remember every Bugs Bunny cartoon but can't remember where I left my glasses.

Jason,
Go for it.
Amazon was out of Volume #2 the other day, or, it was from a seller charging high shipping so I simply ordered that volume from Best Buy.
I don't know what the Amazon status is now.
Thanks for the help, guys!
What were these sets selling for when first released? At $20 or lower each, they are a steal. I had no intention of buying them until I saw the price.
It sounds as if the most essential and top favorite cartoons made it to both sets, so I am not worried about...
I have read multiple reviews on many sites. You do realize that we reviewed them on this site as well.
Nobody, as far as I can see, has compared the Golden to the Platinum collection. In fact, Rick's answer above is the best I could find.
In all this time of being a rather devoted Blu-ray collector, I realized that I don't own any of the Looney Tunes cartoons on Blu-ray.
I was rather pleased to find that the Platinum collections #1-3 on Blu-ray were available on Amazon and Best buy between $17-$20 each. So, I just ordered the...
