The Charles theatre opened in 1967, was not a Cinerama theatre. The Boston theatre was the only Cinerama theatre in Boston.

Cropping needed to correct barrel warping, Cinerama horizon sag, splices at top and bottom, and flashing of a white splice line at every cut. This is normally done by aperture plates when shown in a Cinerama theatre.
