Watched the TCM copy again on my DVR and it looks the same as the Laserdisc transfer looks the same going back to 1990 when I was visiting friends in Plantation Fl and it was on TBS! I do have the WAC MOD and it is TONS better must have been a new transfer wonder if that can be used for a Blu...

Just certain places popped - sent an e-mail to the right contact at WB Video! It really is such a great film, I love it as much as Adv Robin Hood etc it was the true Golden Age of Hollywood and Vidor was such a great director

Proves you were right when u said OCN exists with parts replaced because most of it looks stunning with some muddy spots - hey I love the MGM musicals but c'mon restore this classic too!!!!

I think Vidor said in an interview that they were sitting around on location waiting to continue filming for the sequel but the script never arrived so they all packed up and went back to MGM

It aired again on TCM yesterday, one of Tracey's rare adventure films the only other I can think of is Stanley And Livingston - parts of NWP look great - the early scenes of Robert Young's Stagecoach coming into the town, the scene where Tracey meets his commanding officer in the office then...
