    When the film goes PD, some entity will release it, but presumably not Disney. As to the elements, they should be fine. I was able to examine the neg a decade or so ago, and it was in fine condition, and a very interesting piece of technical work by the studio.

    I don't recall any blackface in the film either. Last time I saw it was probably 7-8 years ago. 35mm dye transfer. Magnificent film, beautifully photographed by one of the best. And Mr. Baskett is brilliant!
