Josh, the first thing I did once a placed the 1140 into the rack was attach both antennae. I'm not that far gone.:)

Perhaps, operator error, but for some reason I had zero issues getting this Yamaha receiver up and running. Also, it just wasn't the Wifi network. During the last few days, the Anthem would show connected by ethernet on their web interface, but disconnected on the receiver itself. I tried...

So far none of the issues I had with the Anthem 1140 have come up with the Yamaha A8A. Connecting to my network wirelessly was a breeze. The same with their web interface.

It's what Dave just stated in the post prior to mine. For me, this year is probably my last attempt at upgrading my equipment unless something breaks down. If I was ten years younger than that wouldn't be the case, but I'm on the back nine in life. The replacement for my A3060 arrives...

Well, that 1140 Anthem receiver is headed back to Audio Advice. My experience with that receiver really humbled me.

I feel like a dumbass trying to get the receiver to work with my network and I haven't even had time to use ARC because I'm dealing with those other issues. Furthermore, I would need a 40 foot USB cord to get ARC to work because I can't use that mobile app. I had enough of it! I ordered...
