Unlike "Singin in the Rain", there doesn't appear to be a Blu-ray disc with this 4K release. Only the 4K disc and digital code.

Well, I don't think many of us would want it now with a new and improved home video release probably happening later this year. As much as I like the film and if I didn't already own the 2013 Blu-ray, I wouldn't buy it now.

Well, what you linked isn't confirmed by WB which is what you stated! That doesn't mean it's not going to happen, but until we see an official WB announcement it's still rumors. Here's hoping it's true!

Yup, looks like in 2022, we're getting a new BD release, but perhaps 4K/UHD release. I hope it's the latter. Edit: On second thought, a 4K disc is out of the question due to the film elements and how this movie was filmed. Perhaps, a second BD release could be coming our way.
