I think there a few reasons why the death rates are lower now than what happened in NY, particularly in the NYC Metro area. A lot of lessons learned the hard way back in March-May.

I've read that the FDA is investigating price gouging. A package of thick sliced bacon has been normally $9.99 from one meat company. This week the price hiked up to $11.99. I'm sorry, but a 20% price hike from one week to the next makes me think some price gouging is going on here.

I've always felt that way about the airborne exposure over the touching services. Also, not touching my face with my hands which is why I wear gloves and wash my hands so many times throughout the day even though, I'm basically home bound except for groceries.

Dave, If you want to buy into what the CDC is now saying that's fine. I still have my reservations and there's no need to have an extensive discussion as to why I have those reservations. I rather be safe than sorry.
