I would think they're giving us HBO customers the 4K tier, otherwise, they're really going to piss off people and this subscription service will again be a failure.

I'm in a similar boat with DirecTV. I will not pay extra for HBO Max successor, if it's not included free with my HBO subscription. Matter of fact, this might be the year I finally drop DirecTV after 27-28 years.

The issue might be equipment related. I have no Dolby Atmos issues with Black Adam on my ATV units.

I just click on the back button on the AppletV remote and it disappears. I haven't found any other way to turn it off.

Warner announced that Black Adam will start streaming on HBO Max on December 16th, which is ahead of its physical media release date of January 3rd.

That they rather cancel your subscription than deal with the valid issues you're bringing up to them.

Perhaps, they have marked you as a troublemaking customer and would rather lose you than rectify your issues.

I didn't realize it's been on sale for $4.99 since last March on iTunes. I purchase the HD digital thru Vudu with a DVD to HD digital conversion for $2.50 about eight years ago.

I compared the HBO Max and iTunes streams and they're exactly alike with the same defects.

Yeah, it appears so. With that said, I can tell the HBO Max stream doesn't look as good as my WA Blu-ray.

I’m unhappy with HBO Max streaming service! I never said I was unhappy with HBO. There is a difference! Furthermore, canceling a free streaming service isn’t a smart move in my opinion despite my misgivings about that service.

Obviously, you're not getting my point. I'm not paying them anything for HBO Max! I'm getting that streaming service free because I'm already an HBO customer from my DirecTV Premiere package.

However, I'm not comparing my situation to yours! I'm just saying that HBO Max is one streaming subscription that I would not have, if it cost me extra monies. Since, it's launch, the number of classic movies has significantly decreased which is why I feel that way.

HBO Max needs to become more like Disney+ in which titles previously released on 4K disc that rotate into their streaming service is also available to stream in 4K. I hope that is one of their goals because that elevates HBO Max status as a streaming service.
