After reading some more stuff on-line, I don't think the third season doesn't come until 2022. I don't know if Disney has officially made any announcements, but it's going to be difficult to meet the December, 2021 timeline due to filmmakers and actors availability involved in multiple series.
I watched Favreau's interview with GMA and based on what he said, I doubt third season starts in December. He said they're currently filming Boba Fett and that the Mandalorian is in pre-production. We'll see what happens, but it's going to be tight.
Yup, that's part of the problem and why there will be always criticism with that process. Some movies more than others, but there was always criticism because people knew that process was used.
Did anybody noticed the look of fear when Moff Gideon watched his Dark Troopers get sliced and diced by Luke? If this takes place five years after ROTJ, wasn't Luke Skywalker a legend by then and should Moff Gideon know it was him based on his Jedi skill set that was on full display?
I didn't think it was her, but I thought it could have been Mace Windu, but once the X-Wing showed up then that sealed it being Luke to me.
I always felt that there was going to be a major surprise in the last episode.
I always thought that another Jedi would show up to help Mando and crew and that the Jedi would've been the one Grogu was communicating with through The Force before he was taken from Mando.
It never crossed my mind because whomever showed up was the Jedi that Grogu was communicating with through The Force before the Dark Troopers snatched him. It also proves that Luke tracked Grogu down by using The Force. He was going to show up with or without Mando.
I didn't know if they would cast a younger actor like Sebastian Stan or use the CGI process like they did in the last Star Wars movie.
As to the CGI process they did use, I have no complaints as I think they did the best they could with it.
As soon as that X-Wing showed up alone, I knew it was Luke which was re-enforced by the way he was going through those Dark Troopers like a hot knife through butter.
