You're allowed to express your opinion just like the rest of us. I'm pretty sure there are films you hold in high regard that I don't think are good films. It's the way the film appreciation cookie crumbles, opinions vary.

I don't care what the critics think if I like a movie and think it's a good film. My opinion rules my home theater as yours does with your HT setup. As to Bobby Deerfield, I'm not espousing it's quality, but just saying that film appreciation comes in all forms.

Or they might have better taste in certain films than you do.;) Film appreciation is in the eye of the viewer.

I remember seeing that film for the first time in a movie theater when I was a kid and that scene in the greenhouse with Bruce Dern scared the crap out of me.

Ron, Of the three titles, I think you'll like Eye of the Needle and Hush...Hush Sweet Charlotte. I'm leery about the third film, The Chase as a recommendation to you.

Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte is a must for me as I think this BD release is going to be superior to the DVD in every way.

Yeah, I'm kind of disappointed that TT hasn't released more Fox film noir films, but at least they're coming out. Kiss of Death would really be up TT's alley. What a great commentary track they can do with that film.

TT sure loves them some Bronson! ;) For me, I see 3 titles I'll definitely purchase and maybe 2 more depending on circumstances regarding bonus material and derived film element sources.
