Actually, I thought I was in the minority on this one! As it turns out, on talk radio today in L.A., there was definitely a majority of Lakers fans who preferred to keep Shaq over Kobe. I was surprised, but glad to hear it.

I know I am in the minority among Lakers fans on this one, but I would rather lose Kobe than Shaq. I will be VERY disappointed if the Lakers trade Shaq. Hell, he was the only one that played decently against the Pistons.

First, Detroit is clearly the better team, and absolutely deserved to win this series (obviously). That being said, going back to whether the Lakers were putting forth a good "effort", I still say no. I am not taking anything away from the Pistons by saying that. But the fact of the matter is...

Which begs the question, Jan, what do you think of Jackson as a coach? Is he overrated considering the incredible talent that he has had on the teams he has coached to championships?
Jan, Rick was over here watching the game with me. You should have heard the profanities come out of my dedicated theater room! Unbelievably bad officiating. Throughout the game, even when the Lakers were looking fairly good on offense in the first half, I was extremely upset about how piss...
Good lord Johnny. Do all Pistons and Kings fans a favor and shut up! Sheesh. Why don't you just give up being a fan of any particular team and just root against the Lakers if that is more fun than rooting for the Kings. :rolleyes
And they are simply the better team, I'm afraid, Jan. The Lakers age showed tonight. Pistons are just quicker to the ball, and show much more overall energy. Malone being injured is big. I don't know if it would have made a big difference, but I would have liked to see this series with a...
