I wouldn't recommend anyone use the 1280x1024 resolution setting. Why? Look at the aspect ratios. 1280x1024 is not a 1.33:1 aspect ratio like 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x960 or 1600x1200. Since your monitor is 1.33:1, well, you get the point. 1280x1024 is a ratio of 1.25:1. This will...- Rob Gillespie
