Blonde, beach bum, boy next door good looks with the aforementioned cool hair. Even many years later when he surprisingly popped up The Godfather Part 2, his acting method was the same. Flat, boring, melt into the background.
Kinda off topic, but there is a wonderful documentary called Echo in the Canyon about the early 60's "California" sound. At the beginning of the movie, you see a car driving down Sunset and you can catch a quick glimpse of Dino's Lodge, which I thought was very cool AND looking VERY closely you...
MeTV doesn't seem to have any trouble broadcasting 77SSS. I would think the same would apply to Bourbon St. Beat, Hawaiian Eye and SS6, although those are much shorter series and might not be as attractive to broadcast
He was very positively portrayed in the Joan Crawford/Betty Davis biopic "Feud". Gave me a little extra insight to the man, he was a charming and witty fellow. A shame he left us so soon.
I am once again struck by how these guys can always park right in front of their destination, no matter how busy the area. In this instance, Stu is able to pull right up to the front gate of a race track. Neat trick. The race track tout is a French Roscoe clone causing Kookie to do a great...

Yeah, I'm wrapping up recording the entire series this week, as I started recording EARLY this year with S1E32. As mentioned the only episode not aired in order was Bullets for Santa. I would pray for Hawaiian Eye, Surfside 6, and even Bourbon Street Beat, but seriously doubt that will happen.
I have a grainy, low quality video of the Paul Revere and the Raiders show "Where the Action Is" that was filmed on location at POP. I think even Lawrence Welk filmed an episode there. It was quite popular during its' heyday.
I believe that was Pacific Ocean Park, or affectionately known as POP. Semi-legendary amusement park meant to compete with Disneyland for the SoCal entertainment dollar. It did well for several years, but ultimately folded.
That always caught my eye, the waGGner, thought it was pretty cool. And Rustifer, I've seen you ask the question about "rank" numerous times and I have honestly, no clue how you build up points, and when you get "promoted".
