Fun trivia: Scenes for NO WAY OUT were filmed in the Old Post Office building in Washington, DC. It contained the government offices where I worked at the time. In the film, Costner (as I recall) takes the DC subway from the Old Post Office to Georgetown. Neither locations actually have...
"The most violent episode in the history of terrorism"
Sadly, the events of twenty years ago this weekend make this tagline from the 1970s out of date.
What makes me feel old?
When a film whose production I helped fund during my career at a federal cultural agency now needs to be restored.
But no complaints. It's a great film.
For that matter, the Keystone Kops had some great car chases as well.
As for JET PILOT, I look forward to seeing this release, micrometer in hand to measure the exact aspect ratio. ;)
While I am discouraged when the Insider says that KLSC has "no interest" in an obscure title I love that needs an improved release (or in some cases, a release in the first place), I am delighted that they HAVE released titles that I thought would never see the light of day, such as ME NATALIE...

Could improved editions of THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD and/or THE HALLELUJAH TRAIL be forthcoming? Maybe THE MUSIC LOVERS on Blu? Here's hoping!
Meanwhile, congratulations on the new deal.
I tip my hat to you, Timothy. It takes bravery to admit liking this movie. (and let's face it, we ALL probably have "guilty pleasure" movies that we like).
I would include THE OSCAR, FEMALE ON THE BEACH, and SONG OF NORWAY as three recent cases where Kino Lorber satisfied MY need for guilty...
While I would love LAND OF THE PHAROAHS to appear on Blu, I doubt that it would look fantastic, given its thick WarnerColor origins. However, if it stays in-house at Warner, who knows what magic WBMPI could work on that title?
That's definitely some good news.
I assume that the plan to add another 50-60 titles mid-year refers to more titles from Universal. Given the potentially large number, did you reconsider any titles that you decided against during the initial Universal deal?
