Another great episode of a sadly neglected series, T.H.E. CAT with Robert Loggia. This episode, "The Long Chase" is just that. An extended chase scene throughout some sort of industrial plant as guest star Robert Duvall and Loggia battle each other. Add John Marley to the mix for a great...

Here's a segment from a Hollywood Palace episode hosted by Milton Berle. Berle, David Hedison, Milton Frome and Neile Adams all participate in a funny sketch spoofing VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA complete with series shots of the Seaview. My favorite part is the recreation of the "Seaview...

I posted this on Crawdaddy's entry and thought I'd add this here. Anyone who watched HELL BOUND on TCM's Noir Alley this weekend might enjoy this great episode of the RESCUE 8 series. It's "The Steel Mountain" and contains even more footage around the discarded trolley cars on LA's Terminal...

I can't find the audio for my favorite Soupy Sales joke anywhere, so here goes ... and remember you have to hear it told to really appreciate it. Soupy: Why, I'm a pretty tough guy you know! The other night I beat up two "marines". Straight Man: You did? Really? Soupy: "Yes! Maureen O'Hara...

Here's another forgotten show. The RESCUE 8 series with Jim Davis had extensive location work. The scenes from this episode where the old LA street cars are piled up in the junkyard are incredible. (A feature film titled HELL BOUND with John Russell also had a climax involving a chase through...

My favorite early TV series has to be ZIV's BOSTON BLACKIE series with Kent Taylor. Great location work around Los Angeles in the early fifties. The end of this episode has some cool chase footage on a drawbridge. (HARBOR COMMAND is another must-see for LA location shots).
