Cory, teh PS3 is going to be a kick butt BD player. I've seen the interface, it shows bitrate & codecs, something even the more expensive BD players do not. Disc load times are fast. The unit is HDMI 1.3 compliant (future ready) and updateable. I've seen version 1.0 and they are already working...

Dude. Half the companies on that list make things like media (blank discs). There are no major hardware makers other than Toshbia & Sanyo & HP. BD has every major hardware company listed (including Sanyo & HP) with the sole exception of Toshiba.
