I can see it being a deal breaker but it is what is...and I've given up trying to get them to go hd.
Their competition where I live has TCM in HD. I changed for a month and came running back to FIOS when all I had was aggravation. Use TCM for old B&W movies...
Exodus in 5.1 DTS sound would be great. The Roadshow version with 2.20 OAR with intermission would also be something. That said I believe the dvd is in 2.0. With the recent Kino announcements of UA films it appears it may be coming from them. Or perhaps from TT in the fall.
I still don't believe that the TCM version is the complete version. At one time someone at YouTube placed the cut scenes online and I have yet to see them in the body of the film.

The 'original' length of Raintree County is just over 3hrs. That's 'part' of the problem as to why WB hasn't released RC on DVD or blu...I don't know how many if any venues ever presented RC at that length.
