Got my 2nd dose of Pfizer on Thursday around noon time.
Here's my running diary of how I've felt for the past couple of days:
Hour 2 - So far a runny nose just like last time, about 2 hours after dat jab.
Hour 4 - not much out of the ordinary so far...
Hour 5 - Ate an early meal.
Hour 6 -...
Anecdotally, on my Facebook feed, more folks complain about the 2nd dose of the Moderna vaccine, and how badly they are laid out for 1-2 days upon that 2nd jab in the arm. My Pfizer dose 1 made me a little yucky (phlegmy throat) for about 30-36 hours, but then I felt normal again, for the most...
Spent most of the day after dose #1 kinda with a yucky throat, but by the afternoon, throat felt more normal again. Like when you get that phlegmy feeling when you're sick, but it's receded.
The CDC director reported that vaccinated folks are not spreading COVID either, so that's pretty good news, besides not being affected to the point of hospitalization if folks contract it afterwards.
Got my first Pfizer shot today at the Mercedes Benz Stadium, will be back in 22 days with the 2nd dose appointment I set up after the first shot. Got a runny nose after about 2 hours, a little sore at the shot location in the left arm.
