Call me crazy, but I’d pay double for those final 23 shorts to be split into 11 and 12 in order to have a Volume 7. Maybe that’s because I’m not quite ready to see this project come to its actual end. Something more to look forward to, ya know?
Ah, ClassicFlix, you’ve really done a most...
Volume One is proof-pudding that this wonderful series and endeavor is off to a magnificent start.
These Little Rascal shorts are to be savored.
My continued congratulations to founder David and his Cracker Jack team. The work being done here is nothing short of gold.
Well, I just got my copy, today. Of course there’s really not much point in watching any of these. After all, everything I’ve read has reported that these shorts look fantastic and, without qualification, I believe everyone here.
Well, maybe I’ll just watch two or three, tonight. Okay...
I can not recall any endeavor in which a restoration group has been so informative and generous with touring its audience and clientele at every phase of its process and progresses. Indeed, with ClassicFlix; and their personalized passions for The Little Rascals project; its refreshing to see...
Also in the can and ready for processing is my Pre-Order for Volume 2. Believe it or not, it was such a given and a no-brainer that I almost forgot to get the ball rolling and actually do it. And gladly, now, I can say that I have.:)
Here’s to ClassicFlix, our commitments and their monetary...
Does anyone know what distinguished an Our Gang short from a The Little Rascals short?
Meanwhile, my congratulations to ClassicFlix on their momentums and arriving at Volume 3. Oh yes, indeed, things are going steadily forward and very happily so.:thumbs-up-smiley:
Knowing full well that I am only one single voice, Dave, you’ve still got my pledge of getting right behind ClassicFlix with a purchase of each and every volume.
As it is, my copy of Volume One has just been ordered.
Here’s to hoping that all advance sales shall be steady and strong.
I guess I’m missing out on my understanding as to why the fundraiser monies were refunded. Nonetheless; and in light or spite of it all; I can’t help but to conclude that this grateful forward action of restoring 80 Little Rascals as being nothing shorter than a true labor of love.
I am happier to have 11 shorts over none at all.
The restoration work being done is crucial and never taken for granted.
80 will happen and 80 will occur.
Carry on and keep up all the great work.:thumbs-up-smiley:
Bravo and congratulations to ClassicFlix. The fund-raiser had me on the edge of my seat; and I couldn’t be happier in knowing that this venture is moving forward. Wonderful news, indeed.
I would only qualify this by saying that 70K Is optimistic within the economic constraints of a crippling pandemic; and also by asking that this be achieved in less than a single month. With that said, 404 backers is something to be very, very proud of. The interests are clearly strong; and I...
How does anyone fairly measure the final figures of a fund raiser for a film restoration project during the economic strifes of a 7 long pandemic?
To quote a Little Rascal, I feel that the garnering of over 385 backers in a single month is “remarkable”.
Although the financial goal has not yet...
Some odd news.
Last night, when checking upon the progress of the ClassicFlix restoration project, the total monies raised had been posted at $30,171; but then, this morning, the Indigogo site revealed a sudden and mysterious decrease.
The fundraiser total is now at $25,338.
What happened?
Who ever thought that all of The Little Rascals shorts would one day fall under the genre of SUSPENSE?

Wherever this project goes, I feel that the monies raised - thus far - has been quite impressive and is highly reflective of an even greater existing support that is most likely out there; were it not for the crippling economics of this pandemic.

Somewhere through the night, ClassicFlix gained an additional $158. A definite step closer.
Well, I’m still going to pledge that extra 50 bucks - 30,000 mark or not. Come to think of it, I’ll make that an even $58.00.:)
Wouldn’t it be the coolest thing if a whole bunch of us HTFers read your post throughout this night and ended up doing the same?
Hey, it’s 10:30 pm and ClassicFlix is only $2,771 away from the $30,000 mark.
Tell you all what; if $30,000 is showing by the time I wake up in the morning, then...
Okay, I just became Backer #330. My projected pledge of October 21st was able to be accessed 3 days earlier than planned; as I was anxious for the presence of rising numbers to be seen on their fundraiser page, ASAP.
I skipped the perks and did a straightforward $100 in the hopes that this...
