    Pretty sure that Cleopatra was one of the first 4K scans at Fotokem and also that it was from an IP. To my knowledge that IP has also been used to strike a number of prints over the years and I have seen one of them in 2006. It was quite the experience!

    The Big Fisherman could even be "restored" from the print I saw a few years ago so I would not be worried about elements but more about who pays the bill and if Disney allows Kino or another entity to license it. That being said I have not heard of Disney mistreating or neglecting their assets...

    It is interesting that Disney would be willing to licence The Big Fisherman to Kino Lorbeer. I wonder if they would even let them access the 65mm OCN or only some 35mm intermediary element. Out of these three I have probably the least interest of any large format feature film in Song of Norway...
