    Yes mark I have to go very close to speaker to hear this hissing. Is this normal?

    Matthew I don't think they have preamp!!! So is there anything I can do to eliminate that hissing, other than replacing RECEIVER. Tx Nitin

    Hi On weekend I upgraded my KLH front speakers to Polk Audio R40. When I play anything, these speakers gave a hissing sound. Even when i play movies with no sound [mute], i can still hear hissing from, topmost speaker or tweeter. When I revert to my KLH's there is no hissing. Can anyone...
