Moffat is writing an episode.
There was a subsequent Radio Times article which says that Millie Gibson will go from starring to recurring at that point in the second season. I presume that some second season filming with Varada Seethu was in public view.
The Christmas special is definitely a nice starting point with only one small gag carried over from the "Wild Blue Yonder" special. I don't think any prior knowledge of Doctor Who is required for enjoying this special and possibly that is how they will treat most of the upcoming season. There...
And they are very good. He was recording practically right up until he passed away.
And they are on sale through 23:59 UK Time on Dec 17. [Both John Hurt's and the Jonathan Carley War Doctor Begins series]...
It is more likely that the writers of Phineas and Ferb were fans of the original 4th Doctor comic which introduced the plotline in 1980. https://tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Doctor_Who_and_the_Star_Beast_(comic_story)
That was quite a wild 3rd special.
Here is the Behind the Scenes video, which I have not yet watched.
I put it in spoilers as there is a casting surprise that is shown.
Folks who enjoy Big Finish will be happy that RTD appears to have left loads of space for future audio adventures.
Star Beast was loads of fun. It was very enjoyable. Ruth Madeley was a nice addition to the supporting cast there (she is in recent 6th Doctor adventures from Big Finish playing another character).
I did not expect to see Mel as a starring character again. I wonder if they will either acknowledge or borrow from some of her Big Finish adventures. There have been quite a lot of good stories there.
At least on Dish Network BBCA was on a higher tier and I may be able to reevaluate whether I need to subscribe to that tier anymore. I think it was also on higher tiers on various cable services as well.
Unfortunately, I think Disney+ is going to be raising the price of its current level of...
From what I've heard the special got almost no promotion anywhere, not just in the US. We heard the official air date at about the same time as everyone else.
As far as when the specials will air - I was under the impression that the last of them would be November 2023 for the show anniversary...
I agree that this series has been a standout for me. This seems to be more of what people thought they would be getting from Chris Chibnall based on his Broadchurch work.
As we saw two TARDIS with perfectly working chameleon circuits in this episode, not explaining this really stuck out in my mind.
Overall, I did enjoy the episode and am looking forward to seeing how the new cliffhanger gets resolved in the holiday special.
Hadn't heard the alternate Tennant theory yet, but I do believe he was fully human at the point.
I've heard the between Troughton and Pertwee theory in a few places.
I just hope that whoever she is, there is something logical behind it. I'm looking forward to the final 4 episodes of the season.
There were giant plot holes throughout the episode. Not a good job of writing.
One thing I was thinking about is that it seems to be a completely standalone episode, but what if the takeaway we are supposed to get it that the future is not fixed? So, maybe that also applies to Gallifrey and...
I enjoyed Part 2 as well. One question - when we saw images related to "The Timeless Child" I recognized the first from The Ghost Monument last season. I didn't recognize the second one - couldn't really tell what it was. Anyone know?
