Well, it should be enough for two years worth of salary, so it would be hard to believe it wasn't 6 figures. It was a great season finale and if they had to end it here at least we aren't at a real cliffhanger. There were a few places in the episode where I was thinking that it would be a...
We finally were able to see this past week's episode. MY son was thinking it was the season finale all throughout. It would have made a good season finale. As many of us have mentioned, I'll really hope that NBC will consider having series for shorter seasons sharing time slots. I think that may...
Advertising Age took a look at the product placement in the last episode: Subway Places More Than Just Product in NBC's 'Chuck' - Advertising Age - Madison+Vine: News Maybe such placement can help keep the show around?
Given the uncertain nature about the status of it next season and that we only have two episodes left this season (4/20 and 4/27) I hope it will only take 2 episodes at most to resolve.
It's too bad that his actions led him into a trap and gave Orion to Fulcrum. In addition, Fulcrum now believes he works for the CIA and perhaps his family and friends may be in danger. Or at least the threat of this is what is going to keep Orion working on the intersect for them.
I am hoping that NBC will decide to keep more shows that are "on the bubble", but just have shorter "seasons" for them. 13 to 17 episodes of Chuck would be better than none.
I don't what NBC's spin is but the early results from NBC gets slight post-Bowl bump; Fox slips--The Live Feed are
There is a nice picture of Chuck diving into the audience with the article.
I also thought the 3-D effects worked pretty well. Still, I could have done without it. We'll have to see wait for the ratings to see if it did attract some new viewers to the show.
I went to a Shoppers Food Warehouse on the way home tonight and there was a display right near the entrance. I am thinking that if you do any shopping this weekend you'll probably have a good chance of finding them.
Since when she played herself in the high school flashback episode she was made up like an ugly duckling it wouldn't have made sense for her to look too good even younger.
To tell the truth, I did not expect Big Mike to take down Leader. I thought he was going to arrive after Casey had taken down Leader and the shop was all a shambles. This was much better. The other moments you mention were great as well.
The publicity for his appearing on the show such as Tony Hale lands roles on 'Chuck,' 'Samantha Who?' | RedEye | Show Patrol lists him as a recurring character which seems to imply a decent chunk of the season - maybe 7 or 8 episodes might be in order?
Morgan was great with his interactions with Emmet. An extremely quick flash of happiness for Chuck that may devastate him again. We all knew that Jill's face would appear as a Fulcrum agent, but it doesn't make it any less painful. I was wondering how the Fulcrum agent could have found them...
Worse than that, they wanted to kill him before they had even tested the new intersect. Yes, it set up some dramatic tension, but it was stupid. In any case, I hope that they don't go this route next time.
Anna Wu was cool and then Casey recommending her for field work was cute. Still, I didn't like the whole Giants sequence. What they should have done was just have Strahan arrested for trespassing and/or assault. It wouldn't have been as amusing, but I would have preferred that. Regarding the...
The problem is him going under the covers .... I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. Chuck unclasping the cypher behind her back was a great surprise in the episode. Neil
That was a surprise. I know they did it for some conflict and extra humor, but I just can't see them giving the order to eliminate Chuck before they've tested the new Intersect. Besides that, it was a very entertaining episode with some great laugh out loud and cheer out loud moments.
I posted this news at the end of the Season 1 thread so people there would see it. I think it is a good way to start the Season 2 thread. I just saw this news from NBC Goes All the Way With 'Chuck' - TVWeek - News
So, it looks quite promising for the new season. I hope the ratings will match the...
